Petal Park

I am in love with the Regency Park designer series paper and the Petal Park bundle.  The Regency Park paper is retiring soon, so if you love it, you should grab it now!   I used a Basic White base, a Night of Navy panel (3-1/2 x 5), a dsp panel (3-7/8 x 4-3/4).  The largest stitched circle was used in Night of Navy to frame the sentiment from Something Fancy.  I simply stamped and punched the flowers in Balmy Blue and Night of Navy.  Then I took a Mango Melody Stampin' Blend and filled in the centers.  I embellished with the retired Fine Sparkle Adhesive gems that were lightly colored in with the blends.

I made these three cards using the By the Bay Suite.  The collection is gorgeous, but it is retiring.  If you love the ocean as much as I do, go to my store link and see if you can grab one before they're gone.  I used a sketch from Paper Craft Crew (#511) for my team challenge in April. It was a fun sketch to work with.  I made one and proceeded to make three or four more!  The Seashells 3D embossing folder is on clearance.  Grab one of those too.  It's so pretty!!

Cocktails, anyone??

I wanted to make a fun birthday card for my cousin who has been through a LOT lately.  I decided to make a card with the Nothing's Better Than stamp set and Love You More Than dies.  I had so much fun coloring in the drinks, I had to make a second card for my husband's birthday (not 'til May, but at least it's done!).   I also used Enjoy the Journey dsp for the background on both.  I love this paper.  The colors are gorgeous!

For my husband's card, I used the Diorama Dies to mimic our pool.  He loves blue drinks!

Here is my cousin's card.  I don't think you can see the Wink of Stella.  It makes the cocktails look more realistic.  Can't wait for summer!

Queen Bee

The Queen Bee bundle caught my eye the first time through the catalog.  I love the gorgeous bee!  I finally got around to inking it up, and challenged myself to go outside the box.  I’m a clean and simple stamper, and find it difficult to make things in natural colors, and in a vintage look.  I’m pretty happy with the way it came out, and happy I went outside the box.  This is about as grungy as I get, unless it's a masculine card.

These are more my normal style.  I used the Hive 3D embossing folder along with some Perfectly Penciled designer series paper. I love this dsp!!

I'm not sure if you can see it, but I've added a layer of vellum wings to this one.  Both were lightly colored in with Stampin' Blends. Let me know which style you prefer!

This bundle is out of stock, but coming back soon (first week of April).   Shop for this and other products in my online store. If you spend $50 in my store, you will receive a free card kit, minus the stamping per Stampin’ Up! rules.

Hello, Irresistible!

This Hello, Irresistible suite is part of  the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives being offered right now.  This suite is so gorgeous.  The dies are incredible!!

I made this card using  Sketch #40 by Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty.  This is for my team challenge.  I used strips of the beautiful Hello, Irresistible designer series paper.  Then I cut out the circular die which actually cuts a frame, but I snipped the little circles to make it free standing, and put it on top of a Soft Seafoam stitched circle.  The flower was colored in with a water brush and Pretty Peacock ink.  I'm SO thankful I kept my ink pad, and so thankful it's coming back!  I love this color and also Lost Lagoon.  Aren't you dying to see the color refresh?  I know I am!  Just be sure to stock up on colors you can't live without!  I finished it by adding Wink of Stella to the flower, stamped the sentiment, die cut with Nature's Harvest,  and embellished with the Loose Frosted Dots.

You can shop for these products in my online store by clicking photos below, or by clicking the shell on the right.  I send a handmade card with every order I receive. If  you spend more than $50 in March, I will also send a card kit for the card above (minus stamping).

Online Exclusives

Stampin' Up! just released something new called Online Exclusives.  These are products that will not be in any catalog.  As a demonstrator, I was able to preorder these beauties!  They are now available to customers (starting March 1).  They will be offered while supplies last.

I truly love these flowers, fonts and dies!  The designer series paper is gorgeous too.  Let me know what you think.

Check out all of the new Online Exclusives by clicking on the photo below.

p.s.  Two of the colors listed in the dsp are Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock!  I didn’t use the patterns this time, but wait until you see them.  Yay, can't wait to have them back.  Stay tuned.

Favored Flowers

I will admit, I didn't immediately love this designer series paper when I saw it in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I saw others using it and started warming up to it.  Well, when I got it in my hands, I loved it!  The flowers are pretty, but the back side prints are fantastic!

For the first card, I used a sentiment from Something Fancy, and a fun sketch from Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty.  The Fresh Freesia panel is embossed with the Basics 3D crosshatch embossing folder (Online Exclusives - see below).

My second and third card are pretty much the same using different colors.  I used a Freshly Made Sketch for this one.  I used the Sending Support stamp set (another free item with a $50 purchase in Sale-a-bration).  The sentiment was stamped and then die cut with the Sending Dies.

Stampin' Up! recently announced the new Online Exclusives.  These are products you will not find in any catalog.  They will be available online until they are sold out.  These were available for preorder so I ordered a bundle, along with the Basics 3D embossing folders (set of three).  They are fantastic!  The Online Exclusives are available to customers starting March 1, so stay tuned!

Don't wait on this dsp. Sale-a-bration is over soon, and this could sell out early!  Shop by clicking below.  When you spend $50 or more with me, you will receive a card kit (two of the above) minus the stamping.  You will also get to choose an item from the Sale-a-bration catalog!

Rainy Days

Do you like rainy days?  I don't mind them so much when the temperatures are warm, but I hate rain in winter!  These cute characters are definitely out in the spring or summer rain.  Aren't they adorable?  The Rain or Shine suite is so fun!  The dies from the Playing in the Rain bundle cut some of the characters and umbrellas from the designer series paper.  Love it!  Here are two cards I made with the bundle/suite.

For the first, I embossed a panel of Balmy Blue (4 x 5-1/4) with the Raindrops embossing folder.  I adhered the pieces cut from dsp, then I had this Flirty Flamingo frame left over from another project and decided to put it on top.  The clouds are brushed with Wink of Stella, but it's hard to see. For the sentiment, I used the hexagon from Something Fancy dies.

For this card, I used a base of Flirty Flamingo and added the embossed Balmy Blue panel.  The bunny, clouds and grass were cut and adhered.  The sentiment is on a label from the Something Fancy Dies (a new favorite die set!).  This is for someone close to me who loves pink and recently had a liver transplant.  It's too soon to send, but I wanted it ready for when she is feeling a bit better (hoping and praying).

If you'd like to shop for this adorable suite, bundle, etc., just click below.  During Sale-a-bration (ends in February), you will get to choose a free item when you purchase $50 or more.  I will send you a card kit for these two as well (minus the stamping).
