Lily Pads and pretty paper

Have you seen the amazing Lily Pad stamps, dies and dsp?  The stamp set and dsp are free with a $50 purchase (each) in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  The dies are a level 2 item (free with $100 purchase).  The dsp is so gorgeous, you could stamp a sentiment, pop it on the dsp and be done!

Here are two cards I made with the bundle.  On the first, I used Lovely Lipstick card stock and Stampin' Blends (I combined Lovely Lipstick light and dark and added Flirty Flamingo to the edges).  The piece below the sentiment is Flirty Flamingo.  I used a sentiment and die from the So Sentimental Bundle.

The card below was using Petal Pink.  The sentiment was from Peaceful Moments and the die is from the Stitched Label dies.  I stamped the lilies in Petal Pink and then colored in lightly with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  I know you're not supposed to be able to color with Stampin' Up! Ink, but it works!  Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

Happy Valentine's Day!

When I first saw this suite, I wondered what I could use it for.  I loved it, but really had to think about it.  Since I got it in, I've been using it for thank yous, Valentines, etc.  It's amazing!  The dsp is gorgeous and I love what you can do with the Eiffel Tower.  Here are a few examples I've created.

First I want to show you why you should NOT leave your ink pads open on your desk.  Ooooops!

I love how the dsp has the silvery tower which looks great with the tower I cut with a silver sheet.

I changed the pattern of dsp and added a white sentiment banner on this one and embellished with Champagne Rhinestones.

This Eiffel Tower was stamped and cut with the outline die.  It gives it a different look.  I had this option for those not wanting to glue the intricate silver tower above.  We used the sequins on this one.

I decided to add a doily from the From My Heart suite and tuck it behind the tower.  This one is for my husband.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please let me know which card you like best. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

March Paper Pumpkin

I don't think you'll want to miss the March Paper Pumpkin!  They are celebrating their 7th anniversary and they are giving subscribers a FREE stamp set!!  It's larger than the normal Paper Pumpkin stamp set (4x6).  The kit contains 12 cards and envelopes (4 each of 3 designs).  They are note sized cards (5 x 3 1/2).  Think daffodils, raindrops and a fresh spring vibe.  I love the coordinating colors (Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Gray Granite, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Shaded Spruce, and So Saffron).  Check out the adorable box above.

In case you don't know what Paper Pumpkin is, it's an adorable little box of fun!  You get a surprise kit each month and it contains everything you need to make the project (except scissors & adhesive).  Your first kit will contain a clear block.  It always contains an ink spot as well, along with glue dots.

You will need to subscribe by March 10 in order to receive this.  Even if you only do one month, this is the one to get!  There are several ways to purchase.  One is a monthly subscription which can be skipped or cancelled at any time.  Click the image above to order.  It's roughly $22, depending on your tax, etc.  You could also purchase a prepaid subscription and earn FREE Sale-a-Bration item/s  (with 3, 6, 12 month).  You would purchase this through my store here:
