Hello Cupcake!

Don't you just love this little cupcake stamp?!  It's a free selection in the Stampin' Up! 2019 Sale-a-bration catalog!  I used Call Me Clover as a base, and the dsp strip is Blueberry Bushel.  For inks, I used a Stitched Rectangle and stamped in Blueberry Bushel on the cupcake paper, Crumb Cake for the cake part (I'm a vanilla girl), and Call Me Clover for the top.  I will have several more versions after my class tonight.  I like to give options! I kept it simple by just adding a Linen Thread bow.  This could be a masculine card, don't you think?  Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Peekaboo

I am really going to miss Peekaboo Peach!  It’s such a fresh and pretty color, but it is retiring soon. The 2016-18 In Colors will be gone for good soon!  This has to be my favorite In Colors of all time. If you love these colors as much as I do, you should stock up on Cardstock, ink pads, embellishments and reinkers before they’re gone.  They always sell out before the end date (May 31), and you don’t want to miss out.!!

On this card, I used the Picture Perfect stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  I love the font and fun sentiments in this set!  I also used Tutti Fruiti dsp and the shimmer ribbon from Sale-a-bration.  This ribbon is FREE with a qualifying purchase of $50.  It’s so pretty and easy to tie!

Hello Gorgeous!

Hey Stampers!  I was trying to come up with an easy class card because my other three were more complicated.  I decided to pull out Beautiful You from the Occasions 2017 catalog.  I used some Sending Love dsp, also from the Occasions catalog, and I layered it on top of a Stitched Square and Oval and cut the sentiment banner with the Banner Triple Punch.  I wanted to keep the dress plain until I showed it to my friends.  I gave them the option of stamping it in Memento Black or adding Real Red to the image.  I think most of them stamped the red.  I like it both ways.  What do you think?  If I can find a photo of the image with red, I will update.  I finished it off with some metallic enamel shapes (LOVE them!!).

Avant Garden

I wasn't quite sure where to begin with this pretty set called Avant Garden.  It was FREE in the Sale-a-Brations catalog.  All you have to do is make a qualifying purchase of $50 and you can choose an item free.

I decided I hadn't used pinks in a while.  I seem to get in a rut with the Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, Mint Macaron colors.  I pulled out some Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo to see how they looked together.  The greens were easy - Old Olive regular and stamped off, and Pear Pizzazz.  These two colors are in my comfort zone.

I stamped the flowers and leaves and thought it looked a little too pinky.  I inked up the dots in the stamp set with Peekaboo Peach and that seemed to pull it together. I first used a base of Crumb Cake and then decided to try another version with Melon Mambo.  Let me know which one you prefer! I used Stylish Stems Framelits for the sentiment piece on the Crumb Cake version.
