OnStage

I had such a great time in Las Vegas with my "Pals" (Stampin' Pretty Pals).  We celebrated our wonderful leader, Mary Fish, for achieving #1 Globally!  She received several other awards as well.  We have a great group.  It's truly amazing how many friendships are formed when you attend a Stampin' Up! event!  We all can't wait until the next one.

They spoil us with goodies and give us the upcoming spring catalogs.  We were all swooning over them!  We also used several of the stamp sets and punches.  Can't wait until you see the catalogs!  Here are a few pics.  The last one is of the amazing swaps demonstrators do!  I never seem to get the chance to make any.  Maybe next year!  If you'd like to join me, please let me know and I'll tell you how easy it is to become a demonstrator.  I'd love to have you on my team!

In the meantime, Stampin' Up! is having an Online Extravaganza from November 20-22.  It's a great time to stock up on ink pads and card stock!

OnStage Las Vegas, here I come!

I'm so excited!  I'm heading to the Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Las Vegas tomorrow!  This is one of the very best perks of being a demonstrator! This is where they introduce new spring catalogs to us.  We receive catalogs, lots of free items (prize patrol), and get to see and use some of the new stamps and products.   I can hardly wait!  The best part of OnStage is seeing friends I've met over the years (fellow demonstrators across the country).  The friendships are priceless!   It's such a fun time! Stay tuned for pictures, although sometimes what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!  LOL

p.s.  I will have to place my order soon for the catalog mailer.  Please let me know if you are interested in receiving the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs!

Purples

Hi Stampers!  Are you a purple person?  If not, you might want to skip this post. Kidding!  I was on a purple roll for some reason.  It's not my favorite color, but Stampin' Up! has some of the prettiest shades!  There's Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Purple Posy.

For the first card, I used the Inspiring Iris stamp set with the Stitched Shapes oval.  The card base is Highland Heather and the print is from the Brights dsp in Gorgeous Grape.  I first stamped the outline of flowers and then the solid image for the purple.  I then added color to the flowers and leaves with Stampin' Blends.

For the second, I used Vibrant Vases.  They are great sets to have for all occasion cards.  This uses a Gorgeous Grape base with a piece of dsp from the In Color collection in Purple Posy.  I'm not sure if you read about the issue Stampin' Up! is having with the Purple Posy ink.  They have decided to discontinue it.  The papers, Blends, Stampin' Write markers, etc. will still be available.  I colored the flowers in with Stampin' Blends.  There is a stamp to fill in the flowers, but I felt like coloring.

Please let me know which is your favorite, or if you have questions on anything!  If you click on the product images above, it will take you to my store where you can browse or purchase 24/7.  Thanks for stopping by!

Stay tuned for an upcoming sale!!  I'll let you know as soon as I have details!

Have I got a deal for you!

The December Paper Pumpkin kit will coordinate with the beautiful kit from November and it will contain 24 tags.  They can easily be turned into cards.  Stampin' Up! has made it easy by providing die cuts of deer, sled, snowflakes, etc.  The four cardstock colors it coordinates with are:  Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce.

If you sign up with me for this paper pumpkin by November 10, you will receive a card base in each of the colors listed above.

Paper Pumpkin can be purchased two ways.  One as a month-to-month subscription which can be skipped or cancelled at any time.  The other is a prepaid subscription and they're available in a one, three, six or twelve month subscription.  The more you buy, the more you save.

Holidays are coming fast!

If you make holiday cards, have you started yet?  I have been creating one a month for class, and I've done a few on my own.  I probably have about 10 at this point.  The only problem is, I need about 80-90!!  Yikes, I need to get moving!

I almost always make two versions for class, to show different ways to make the cards.  I used the amazing So Many Stars bundle.  I knew I had to have at least the dies when I saw them.  They can be used for birthday, graduation, holiday, etc.  I will post a birthday card I made with them very soon.

I paired the bundle with the Wrapped in Plaid dsp.  I love, love, love this paper!

Let me know how many cards you've made, if any.  And click on the graphics below to browse or order from my store.  Thanks for stopping by!
