Feast One Hundred & Thirty Five

Appetizer
Name two things that made you smile this week.

I finished two lo's that have been sitting a while. My son looked so young and I also laughed at his skinny elbow which was broken.

My oldest called me at work and mimicked my greeting. I said "Graduate School of Education" and he said, "Graduate School of Evan here".

Soup
Fill in the blank: Don't you hate it when? They call for a huge storm and you're counting on having the day off and you wake up to bare ground?!! I'm seriously hoping the storm moves in and they let us go early! It's spring break and it's dead around here.

Salad
When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland?

I sometimes try to picture myself relaxing on a beach or hammock somewhere. Sometimes I plan out layouts or cards and other times I try to blank my mind out totally.

Main Course
What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer?

Why are smart people so stupid?!! (a lot of doc. students, Ph.D.'s, etc. have NO common sense).

Dessert
What is your favorite pasta dish? Pasta Rustica from Macaroni Grill or Pasta Rosa from my favorite local Italian restaurant.

Awesome feast. I think you're right about A LOT of well educated people not having common sense! Crazy...

Oh my gosh! I love your main course! I once knew a brilliant young woman who was having trouble getting the shell off of a peel-n-eat shrimp and in frustration blurted out, "Why do they put them in these things?" My brother replied, "They're born that way."

You're so right about very educated people. They are so intelligent but don't have any common sense.
