Trees
I had a stray tree on my desk for quite some time. I finally decided to put it to good use! When I received my Rooted in Nature stamp set, I played around using daubers trying to blend different colors (Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide). The next level back was using Tranquil Tide, and the back tree was Tranquil Tide stamped off once. The tree trunks were inked with Early Espresso. I die cut my panel of whisper white with the Blended Seasons (no longer available) shape and then did the same with a piece of Wood Textures dsp. The pieces were mounted on a Mint Macaron base embossed with the Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I tied some baker's twine from Share What You Love embellishments. Twine is my favorite embellishment! What is yours? Is it ribbon, buttons, rhinestones, enamel shapes?

Thinking of you
I saw this awesome fold on a Facebook live by Karen Titus (Stamping on the Back Porch). I’m not sure I did it exactly like she did, but I started with a panel of Tranquil Tide cut at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Then I cut a piece of Share What You Love dsp. This is an amazing card stock weight dsp. This fold shows both sides of the pretty paper. I cut it at 8 x 4” and scored at 4 and adhered it on the panel. I stamped the stump from Rooted in Nature in Crumb Cake and edged it with Early Espresso, then I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed with Stampin’ White embossing powder. I fussy cut it and adhered half of it on the dsp and added some Nature's Twine. A 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Whisper White was added to the inside for my greeting and I finished by stamping a leaf. The Rooted in Nature is such a versatile bundle! Check out my previous post here: Rooted

Share What You Love
I LOVE this dsp!! It's card stock weight and some of the papers are shimmery. It's gorgeous! I made this card and several others with it. I wish I had taken inside pics of this card. You can see the other side of the dsp inside. I made the base from Rich Razzleberry (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4). I cut off a panel at 1 1/2 inches. I then cut a piece of Share What You Love specialty designer series paper (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I adhered it inside the card stock, wrapped it with this pretty velvet ribbon and added a Linen Thread bow. The sentiment is from the Stitched All Around stamp set and cut out with Stitched Labels Framelits. This was made for one of my team members for her birthday. I can't even count the July birthday cards I sent out! I think half the people I know were born in July. I would love for you to leave me a comment. It'll make my day! And feel free to ask questions. Thanks for stopping by.

From the Heart...
I feel like I've been making a lot of "from the heart, thinking of you, with sympathy" cards lately. I'm thankful I have new products to make it easier! Here is one using the beautiful new blue called Balmy Blue, and the specialty designer series paper called Delightfully Detailed. There are pieces you can use as strips and some as a mat, or you can simply cut to size and use the flowers and leaves as layers. I scattered a few of the tiny colored pearls from the Share What You Love suite. The sentiment is from Petal Palette on a Stitched oval. Let me know what you think! And click below to view the catalog. Feel free to contact me for a free copy if you are not working with another demonstrator.
