Hi Stampers! I am not an animal lover (don't hit me). I think they're beautiful, I'm just not into them like some people are. When I saw this set called Let It Ride at OnStage, I had to have it! The horses are beautiful, but I really fell for the fonts and sentiments on this one.
I started with a base of Balmy Blue, added a panel of Granny Apple Green, and a strip of Wood Textures dsp. The sentiment was stamped on a Stitched circle and a piece of Burlap Ribbon was added. Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear what you think.

Hello! I've never been a collector of roosters, but I love the way they look in a country kitchen. When I saw this guy in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, I just had to have him! He reminds me of my neighbor's rooster. I hear him occasionally, and I'm thankful I don't live behind him! I finally inked him up last night while trying to make some samples for an upcoming class.
I paired the rooster with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder and embellished with some Burlap ribbon. I sponged Cajun Craze on the Crumb Cake Corrugated piece (say that three times fast!).
He was colored in with Stampin' Blends in Bermuda Bay, Cajun Craze, Mango Melody, Real Red, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede. Then I die cut with the Stitched Shapes Thinlits. I backed with a scalloped circle from the Layered Circles dies.
Here are some of the products used. Just click on the images to order. Don't forget to use my January host code for online orders $50 and over. You will receive a free package of embellishments from me. The code is: BMVRMPYM
This is FREE in the Sale-a-Bration catalog with an order of $50 or more!!
I am in love with the two butterfly sets from the Occasions catalog! The Beauty Abounds bundle is what I used on the card below. I was making it for a friend who loves blue and purple. I chose Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, and added in some Granny Apple Green. I made up my own dsp background with the bubbles and splashes in this beautiful set. The ribbon is from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Yes, I got it FREE!! You can too. If you place an order of $50 or more, you can choose the beautiful organdy ribbon for free. I love the springy colors in this set. The dies nest on top of one another. For the sentiment, I chose the Stitched Labels Framelits. Please let me know what you think! Thanks so much for stopping by.
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a nice holiday season. I enjoyed spending mine with family, but I ended up getting pneumonia. That put a damper on my vacation. I thought I was feeling a bit better, so I dragged myself out for an early New Year's Eve dinner, and instantly regretted it. We always go for hibachi. As soon as we sat down, I started coughing and could not stop. I think it was the smoke from the grill. I didn't enjoy my meal and I don't think the other poor people at our table did either. Oh well, onto better days!! Tell me what you did during the holidays! Hope you had fun.

I had a stray tree on my desk for quite some time. I finally decided to put it to good use! When I received my Rooted in Nature stamp set, I played around using daubers trying to blend different colors (Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide). The next level back was using Tranquil Tide, and the back tree was Tranquil Tide stamped off once. The tree trunks were inked with Early Espresso. I die cut my panel of whisper white with the Blended Seasons (no longer available) shape and then did the same with a piece of Wood Textures dsp. The pieces were mounted on a Mint Macaron base embossed with the Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I tied some baker's twine from Share What You Love embellishments. Twine is my favorite embellishment! What is yours? Is it ribbon, buttons, rhinestones, enamel shapes?

This card was created with the cute gingham dsp! We received it at OnStage Orlando, and I can't get enough of it! I used a brand new set from our Occasions catalog (another all-attendee giveaway). The catalog is being shipped in the next few weeks and it begins on January 5. I can't wait to hear what you think about it!
This set is called Incredible Like You. I stamped it in Blueberry Bushel on a Stitched Label die cut. The base is Balmy Blue with a strip of Blueberry Bushel and the blue gingham. I added a few pieces of Granny Apple Green with the Sprig Punch and some White Bakers Twine.
I'm so excited about the Stampin' Up! Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs! I cannot wait to share them with you. If you are not working with another demonstrator and you'd like catalogs sent to you, please message me.
This card was made with a new stamp set from the Occasions catalog. It's called Amazing Life. It's such a cute set! I paired it with our new Gingham Gala dsp. Sorry I've been MIA! Still trying to catch up after attending Stampin' Up!'s OnStage event in Orlando. We celebrated Stampin' Up!'s 30th anniversary. It was so much fun! I got to spend time with a great bunch of people including my upline, Mary Fish. I saw friends I haven't seen in two years and we laughed a lot! The worst part of OnStage is leaving your friends. And the best part of being a demonstrator (on top of the discount) is the friendships!!
Stampin' Up! spoiled us with some amazing gifts and did not disappoint with the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs! I cannot wait to receive my pre-order (another perk).
Some exciting news to share - we now have a red rubber stamp that sticks!! It's called Cling Stamps and they are replacing Clear Stamps. Boy, do they stick!! Watch this video to learn more about them.
If you've ever thought about becoming a demonstrator, please talk to me! I can explain all of the benefits to you. There is no obligation to hold classes, you can simply enjoy the discount yourself. Let me know if you want to hear about it. I just celebrated my 5 year anniversary!! I love being a part of Stampin' Up!
