Sorry I've been MIA. It's been crazy during the holidays. We had a great Christmas and New Years! We are still waiting for our grandson to arrive. We thought it would be before the new year but that didn't happen. His due date is tomorrow so hopefully he will arrive before I have to go back to work!
I made this to thank a friend for helping me out. I used the Woodland Embossing folder. I got inspiration from the talented stampers on Pinterest. There are lots of fun ways to use this! For mine, I sponged on some Lost Lagoon ink (toward the trees) and then on the rest of the sky areas I used Pool Party. Then I stamped the Wonderland trees in Mellow Moss on top of that. I carefully put my paper in the folder and send through the Big Shot. I love the result. You can experiment with lots of colors!
For the snowflake, I started with a wooden element, pressed it on a Versamark ink pad and then embossed with Pool Party embossing powder. I dusted with a glittery embossing powder for some sparkle. I know it's hard to see the glitter here. You have to be careful not to over heat. I did see a little bit of smoke when I wasn't paying attention. I do love the embossed snowflakes, then again, I just plain love snowflakes!
I plan on dusting off my craft room and getting back to a regular schedule, but I'm on call to take care of my granddaughter when the baby arrives. Hope to be back soon!

This is gorgeous. The trees in the background are lovely. You're a genius with balancing color and texture.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, Marlene!
Saw this card again on Mary's picks. It's gorgeous. Now that I have the folder, you have to teach me how to create this card (with modifications). :)
Gorgeous! I also saw your card on Mary's blog and had to stop in.
Love this card! I don't understand how you got the birch trees over the pine trees. Is this a die cut or an embossing folder that made the trees? Very beautiful card...love the mellow moss with the pool party/lagoon colors!
