Maine Lighthouse Tour

I was on vacation this week and feel I need another week to rest!  We had a great time in Maine.  We were taken on a tour of several Maine Lighthouses by my husband's aunt and uncle.  We saw Portland Head, Two Lights, Bug Light, Spring Point Ledge and Nubble Light Lighthouses.  We ate delicious foods (fried clams & scallops, lobster, ice cream).  This is Spring Point Ledge and Portland Light.

We returned from Maine and then toured Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA.  We ate more seafood and then headed to a beautiful beach in MA the next day.  And, yes, we had even more seafood on the way home.

The last two days were spent mostly at home.  I really hoped to spend part of the week sitting by the pool! The temps are cool at night which makes the water temperature too cold.  Of course, next week will be really hot and I will be back to work.  Oh well, I can't complain.  We really enjoyed our vacation!

What a great vacation! You are killing me with the photos! I love lighthouses, but have only ever seen two with my own eyes, can you believe that?! And that food is to-die-for looking!

If we ever, EVER, make it up to your part of the country, I know who to contact about travel info. Looks like you went to some beautiful places and know all the cool places to visit and eat :) Maybe you need to start a new career as a tour guide, LOL!

Glad you enjoyed your vacation!
