PPA 218

I made this for a work friend.  I love this color combo, but realized afterward that I messed up a little.  The color in the dsp is actually Sahara Sand, not Crumb Cake.  It's close enough, right?  :-)    This is for my Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 218.

I used the Flower Patch bundle (#134207).  It took me a while to break this out, but now that I have I don't want to put it away!  I truly love when the dies match the stamp sets.  I'm not a cutter!  The dsp stacks make it super easy to put together a quick card.  This paper is from the Moonlight stack (#133701).

Two tips for you on using photopolymer stamps - 1) stamp with Versamark ink and stamp off before first use; 2)  put a mouse pad, piercing mat, or something squishy under your paper before stamping.  You will get a crisper image.

We had some crazy storms in NH yesterday.  We actually had tornado warnings!!  We went for a nice swim early afternoon.  It was gorgeous out.  All of a sudden it got cloudy and we heard thunder.  We hopped out fast and sat it out.  It went downhill fast.  The lighnting was crazy.  We had downpours and wind.  The power went out a few times but came right back, thank God!  Our cable was out for a few hours though. Hope you had a great weekend!

Love this one, great colors! Sounds like you had a good weekend, except for the storms. Didn't realize you guys had a lot of tornadoes up that way, they are pretty common here. Glad it blew over and no damage! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend and have a great week coming up! :)

Your flower bloom in Blackberry Bliss is striking against the polka dot paper. A clean design that results in stunning!
