Cute freebies...

Go over and check out Dustin Pike's Blog. He has some adorable freebies for you! He's reached 1000 followers and will give another freebie when he reaches 1500.

No pretty Easter colors here....

This is a male Easter card for my dad. I couldn't use any of those pretty pastels or ribbons, pearls, etc.

The image is from SNR Card Universe but I can't seem to find the link. I used SU cs and pp (Neighbor pad from SAB).

Rainy week...

It started raining last night and it's supposed to last until Wed. At least the upcoming weekend should be nice! They said sunny and warmer (60's - 70's). Can't wait for that. I can deal with the crappy rain during the week.

Here's another that I made with Coco Dingo's cute bunny.

Happy spring???

It has been cold in New Hampshire! We had that little teaser of temps close to 70 and now we're back to 40s. At least there's no snow. I woke up Sat. morning to a litte covering of wet snow but it melted fast.

Anyway, we went out to dinner with some good friends last night. It was a lot of fun. I'm not sure what's up for today but it will more than likely be work on the basement.

I made this before the weekend. I think it was from CoCoDingo. I have a hard time with big images. I don't like making square cards because they aren't easy to send so I had to cut the frame in half. I wish the sizes of nesties were a little closer to each other.

One of many...

Here's my first Easter card. I still have several to make so you may get sick of seeing them! I think this will be for my mom but I'm not sure yet.

I have a short week at work this week. I had a medical appt. today and another on Thurs. and I took Fri. off for car service. I hope to get some extra stamping in. If it's not raining, I need to walk a few times too.

This isn't the sharpest picture but here it is. I used a digi stamp from Sew Many and the papers are SU Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral and (?)Apricot. I think this was a color challenge on Splitcoast Stampers last week. Love the colors together.

A day to celebrate....

Made this for my oldest son. It looks a little on the girly side but I tried to keep it manly and plain. He loves teal and purple. Apparently they're the new red and black! LOL

This image is from Victoria Case Designs. The paper is Pacific Point & Really Rust from SU. The sentiment is Hero Arts.

I had yesterday off and I thought I'd get in a walk and then stamp. HA!! I did my son's taxes while waiting for a furniture delivery (yes, my furniture in the RIGHT color,3 mos. later), and for a guy who was cutting in a side door in our garage. So....the furniture came early, the guy was finished around 1. Then my hubby came home and asked if I'd like to run out for lunch and a few errands. We did and, needless to say, got home at 5:15, just in time to run to the hairdresser for 6. LOL

Top of the mornin'....

Top of the mornin' to ya! Are you wearing your green today? I am! Happy St. Paddy's Day. You know everyone is Irish today, right?! I happen to be Irish. My oldest son is a redhead and is so proud to be an Irishman but feels he doesn't need to wear green to prove it. My youngest takes on the Italian heritage with his olivey skin and he loves to say he's Italian. You'd never know they're brothers!

Question for you.....do you wear certain colors for holidays? Like pink/red on Valentine's Day, Red/green on Christmas day, etc.? I almost always to. I tend to wear the color on the Friday before if the holiday lands on a weekend. I feel like it's the last day of work before the holiday so I should wear the color. :-)

Have a nice day!

St. Paddy's card and for the birds....

I made this card for a friend. I got the cute image from My Grafico. I wish I had colored the pot black. Oh well....too late and not enough time to remake. I may do another card to put in tomorrow's mail and hope that it gets there by Wed.!

While I was getting ready yesterday, my husband hollered up the stairs, "Michelle, you've got to see this, hurry!!" I grabbed my bathrobe and ran down stairs. I expected to see a huge moose or something. I looked out and saw two yards covered in black birds.

Then they went into this weird formation.

Then they all flew to the back yard and off. It was so strange! Please excuse the blurry raindrops on my window!

My sole.....

I made this card for an online friend who is going through a rough time. I recently saw this sentiment on a blog (sorry, I can't remember where!!) and I thought it would be perfect for this cute shoe from Lost in Paper Scraps.

I've been using this dp a lot!! I need to change it up a bit. At least I didn't use the scallop punch again, right?

Have a great weekend!

Chit chat...

I almost finished a St. Patty's card last night but I was so tired, I couldn't focus after coloring in the image. I guess I'll get to it tonight before Grey's Anatomy. I also made a shoe card the other night for an online friend but haven't taken a photo yet.

I have a weird question. For those not in MA and NH, does your state have more than one area code? MA has at least four, maybe five. You always have to dial the area code, even if the person lives next to you. Sometimes you have to dial a 1 if it's out of the area.

Now that we live in NH, it is so hard to remember that there is only one area code and you do not need to dial it. I'm not sure if you dial a 1 if it's out of your area because I haven't called anyone that's too far away. We get strange looks when we give our phone number, starting with the area code, if it's to someone in NH. You can see them silently saying, Yeah, I KNOW the area code stupid! LOL I guess we'll remember in time.

Turtle thanks....

I made this for my bfof (online) who sent me the cutest little onesie for the baby that says, "My Grandma Rocks." I will go by Nana but it means the same, right? It has a cute little guitar on it too. My son and his gf loved it!

I found this adorable image at Lost in Paper Scraps. I just love the cute images there. And they're FREE!!

Here I go using that EK Success scalloped punch again. LOL I hate my stitching but it was too late at that point so I sent it anyway.

Butterfly wishes....

I made this the other day for my aunt's birthday. I used SU dp & butterfly punch, Mike's ribbon, EK Success scallop punch which I'm over using, and Hero Arts sentiment. I got inspiration from Karen Giron. I just love her style. I had to go back a ways. I guess I printed it out in Jan.

I had a fun weekend with my cousins. First we went to a Newburyport restaurant which is on the MA coast. The next day we continued at my cousin's house. Too much fun...I still haven't caught up on the sleep.

The most important part of my weekend was......FINDING MY BLING!!!!!!!!!! I was going nuts and I finally decided to go through a box of junk I still have in the living room. I have no idea why I kept it. It's a bunch leftovers from a lss yard sale and other things I just didn't think I'd use. Ok, how about throwing them out or donating?! Anyhoo, that's where my stash was. Whew! I feel so much better.

Second fortieth....

I still need to run out and get a gift for the 40th party on Sat. I hate putting things off til the last minute but I'm clueless for this one.

Here's the second card I made for the party. It looks like the bird is laughing so I thought it was appropriate. Still not sure what to put on the inside. I was going to come up with something like "You 40? No way!, but I haven't figured it out yet. If you have suggestions, please let me know!!

I used that Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday paper again and the cs & ribbon are SU. The adorable image is from Lost in Paper Scraps. She has some amazing images. Go and check it out!

p.s. I have had a Just Rite rectangle stamp set and Brayton font for probably two years. I finally broke them out of the wrapping and used them on the "How old?"!! Now, if I could only find my bling. This is the only package so you'll see me using a lot of orange, green and purple! LOL

40th birthday....

I got this cute freebie from Bugaboo Stamps.
I made it for a double 40th birthday party I'm going to this weekend. I need one more and the pressure is on. I have a ton of things to do this week.

Anyway, it's not a great photo. I don't know if you can see the sparkly candles but here it is!

The inside says, "What's one more friggin' candle?"

Used: CB Happy Birthday, Copics, SU Cameo Coral cs, dp from a Cosmo Cricket stack I got on sale at Mike's (Tori Wild enabled me), SU ribbon in Kraft, Nesties, and Stickles.

Oye vey....

We worked all weekend on the basement. There were so many boxes down there, filled with things we don't know what to do with. We used to have a big finished basement and now we have a small one. We are missing a few closets and a spare bedroom.

Anyway, my son and his gf moved in because he hasn't found a job yet (laid off in Jan.). We set up a temporary apartment in the basement. We planned on it being this coming weekend but due to the storm, we pushed it to this weekend. They had no power where they were living on Fri. night and didn't get it back until yesterday. It was really cold in that house (40?) and I couldn't let a pregnant girl stay there.

I am so sore and tired. I feel like I didn't have a weekend. It was fun Sat. night though. We all watched a movie together and it was fantastic to have enough seats in the family room!! My last house had a smaller family room and only three or four of us could fit but not comfortably. Last night my son cooked us dinner and did a great job!

I seriously need to find time to make two 40th cards this week. I have a double party to go to on Sat. Hope you had a fun weekend!
