Maybe baby....

I hope I didn't already posted this one. I don't think I did though. I made it a while ago. I was just clearing out my photo files and remembered it. This cute digi stamp is by Digital-Ink Co. Thanks for looking.

Missing my stamps....

The closest I came to getting into my stamping room is by giving tours of my house yesterday. I had a jewelry party yesterday to help my niece/godchild out. She is just starting out. I had a good turnout for her so that was great!

No one has seen my new house yet so I spent a good part of the weekend cleaning, organizing and cooking for Sun. We finally got the little bathroom painted and put a curtain up. The only problem is my husband couldn't get the mirror back on because it had globs of adhesive. We went to Lowe's Sat. night to see if we could get a new one but they didn't have what we wanted.

We did leave the store with a ton of solar lights - posts for around the pool, tiki lights around the pool and a set of landscaping lights for the front walkway. They look pretty cool! My hubby was so excited last night after dark. He saw two light up and then three and so on. It doesn't take much to make us happy! LOL

Anyoo, we had fun seeing family and friends. Some of them stayed long after the party was over so we didn't end up getting Chinese take out until about 9. I'm wiped so I don't think stamping is on the agenda for tonight....

Bird's Eye View...

I've been cracking up over this little bird in my back yard. He sits at the tippity top of this thin tree and it sways back and forth. The branch doesn't look strong enough to hold him. He hangs on for dear life. It's hysterical to watch. He yacks while he's up there too. Just had to share. Hope you can see him. If you double click, you'll get a better view.

Another one more candle...

I had today off for Patriot's Day and I was kind of lazy. I should have been more productive and gone for a walk. I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow.

It took me forever to make this because my mom kept popping in to talk to me. It's for an online friend and I hope she doesn't see it before it gets to her. I used this funny Bugaboo Stamps image again. You can't see it but I colored her hair with silver Shimmerz and the candles with orange. I used an Amy R. sketch from a few weeks ago. I just realized I didn't quite get it right. Oh well!

Twinsies....

Here are two simple cards for my twin niece and nephew's first birthday. It looks like my one is crooked in one of them. I'll have to fix it.

Can you see how old these papers are? I'm forcing myself to use up or toss some crap. They're only one and their mom isn't a stamper, so they don't know what's old and new! LOL Both sentiments are Hero Arts. I think all cs is SU but honestly can't remember. The cute lion image is from Meljens Designs. Sorry, I cannot find the source for the cute bear.

I feel so bad. Their first birthday party is a big cookout and it's going to be lousy out. I think it'll be cold and rainy. Can't wait to see the little dolls though! I need a baby fix.

What a day!!

Whew, what a day I had! I went to work exhausted. I haven't been able to sleep because my back hurts so I toss and turn. Anyway, it was really busy in the office. Sometimes it doesn't pay to take a vacation day because you have double the work when you return! I think I'll go to bed early tonight.

I made this with Mother's Day in mind but I'm not sure what I'll use it for. I was going to send it to my aunt from my 20 yo. It's his godmother.

I used mostly SU - dp, cs and ribbon. The image is from Lost in Paper Scraps. Isn't he cute?! I just love her images!

I have a question for you. Do you send mothers day cards to anyone other than your mom? I used to send out a bunch. Unfortunately my nana isn't around any more but I do send one to my godmother, my boys godmothers and my husband's godmother (they're all aunts). So I better get going on the rest of the cards!!

p.s. I don't know what is up with my photos lately but the dp is washed out on this one.

Anniversary...

Here's a really quick card I made for my BIL/SIL's anniversary. I used SU butterfly punch, SU pp. The cs is something I got a while ago from a friend (thanks, Linda ;-)) The sentiment is from CTMH. The photo kind of faded it a little but you get the idea.

My son's 24th...

I can't believe my son is 24 today and about to be a Dad (well, in August). Where has the time gone?!

His girlfriend made this cake decorated with neon food coloring! Evan loves purple and teal. He was wearing purple a year before it became the new popular color for men. Too funny!

For my monkey....

I made a card for my oldest son who will be 24 on Monday. My youngest son saw it and had to give it to his brother. So.....I made another. I was looking for manly papers to use with a star image and came across the monkey paper. I got it in a box from a friend who sent me a ton of scraps (full sheet, mind you). The backside is bananas but the image was too big to incorporate that. I think it's Daisie D's.

Anyway, I looked through my digi images and found this cute monkey from Bugaboo Stamps and thought he'd look cute with the paper. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The inside says, "hope you have a one of a kind birthday." By the way, go and check out Bugaboo. They have another adorable freebie posted!! And they also have some amazing blog candy (see my sidebar).

I asked my son if we were celebrating his birthday on Easter and he said no! I then told him that his brother works on Mon. from 1-9 so it was the only time he could make it. Then he found out his friends are taking him out for drinks so he's fine with Easter Sunday! LOL It will be strange having his birthday cake for our Easter dessert though.

Please excuse the horrible photo. The colors are a bit faded.
