Stamparatus

Oh, the wait is killing me on the Stamparatus!  I cannot wait to get my hands on this.  If you still have questions on how this works, please let me know.  This is further information than I've shared before.  What an amazing tool!

I've been having so much fun coloring these adorable images from Magical Day.  There is a die set to match.  I've cut out the mermaid and knight to show how easy it is.  The other knight was stamped on a Stitched Circle framelit.  You can save 10% by ordering the Magical Day bundle.  There is also an adorable dsp pack and some washi.  Check out the whole suite!  I colored these with my Stampin' Blends which are fabulous!  I will post a card using these images soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bubbling Over with joy!

I have a snow day!!  Yippee!

I have spent far too much time playing with the Bubble Over bundle from the Occasions catalog!  I kept making different color combinations.  I also cut the bottles and caps from the Bubbles & Fizz dsp.  Did you know the thinlits fit the dsp?!  I love this!  If I’m too lazy to stamp or want a different color, I can just cut from the paper.

I started by stamping Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake for the brown bottles.  There is a small and larger bottle.  As I was cutting out the dsp,  I noticed some half bottles on the edges.  I decided to cut them out and tuck them in the crate.  No waste!!  I also cut the little bottle caps with silver foil paper.  Aren't they adorable?!  So on and on I went cutting out little bottles and caps, stamping more labels, etc.  I finally made myself stop and make a card.  After all, isn't that what we do this for?  I needed one for a guy at work who is always helping someone in some way.  Hope he likes it.

It's live!!

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.  I had a great Christmas and nice vacation time off, but I had no play time!  I'm hoping I will have time this week.  I have some new toys to play with and I cannot wait!

Fun times and a new tool!

I had a blast in Salt Lake City at OnStage!  Not only did I get to see all of the new products and catalogs, I saw my friends.  That was the best part!  It's incredible how close relationships form with other fellow demonstrators.  We truly enjoy being together, and product prize patrols don't hurt either!  I will be sharing some product photos soon.

OnStage, here I come!

I'm heading out to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event.  This is like a convention where demonstrators go to see the new spring catalogs and products.  We usually come home with a bundle of new things.  I cannot wait to see what beautiful new stamps and products they will have for us!  I will also be seeing lots of friends. I promised to post a picture using Stampin' Blends.  I made two quick cards and colored a piece of Just Add Color designer series paper just to practice.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and then started coloring with the light shade.  I used the dark shade at the bottom and middle of the leaves.  I went back over the dark with the light to blend.  Easy peasy!  There is even a color lifter to move the color from outside the lines.

I used the Happiest of Days stamp set for both cards.  I just love those little gifts and the fonts!  The black dotted paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely dsp.  Calypso Coral Layering Squares and Stitched Framelits are used on the first card.  I used Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight for Stampin' Blends.

On the second, I stamped the gifts on a Stitched framelit and backed with a Layering Squares framelit in Bermuda Bay.  I colored with Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.  I made an ooops on the sentiment so I stamped over again on Daffodil Delight and called it a day!

World Card Making Day

Hello Stampers!

Sorry I've been MIA.  I went to Las Vegas and returned a couple of days before the tragedy.  It breaks my heart to see what they've been through.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims.  I ended up getting sick from plane germs so I've been out of commission for a couple of days.

Inky Fall Leaves

I love fall, don't you?! I saw this tutorial on Pinterest (Jackie Bolhuis has a video) so I decided to try it with the pretty leaves in Colorful Seasons.  It uses a baby wipe and reinkers for a stamp pad.

I started by folding two baby wipes into a rectangle and put them on a clear block F.  I then dropped reinker spots of Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry in a random pattern.  I would use maybe three or four drops of each color within the rectangle.  Then I stamped into the ink with the solid leaf stamp. You can move around a bit to get the colors, but not too much as it will become brown.  My first card has some white on the leaf but I think it's a cool effect.  I stamped a bit more with the second card and it's deeper.  I wish I had more yellow here.  I added some leaves which I cut from the Seasonal Layers Framelits and adhered my piece to an Old Olive panel, stamped a sentiment, and backed it with a tiny strip of Rich Razzleberry.

Happy Fall

I am loving this new Painted Harvest stamp set!  The sunflowers look amazing and it's easy to do with the two-step stamping method!  It's a versatile set.  I have seen others use this as a Christmas wreath stamped in green.  Check out my Pinterest board to the right (Holiday 2017).  I have pinned several samples.   Also, below you will see one I made for a class card.  We all created our own dsp with the stamp set. It was fun!
