Pretty Peekaboo

I am really going to miss Peekaboo Peach!  It’s such a fresh and pretty color, but it is retiring soon. The 2016-18 In Colors will be gone for good soon!  This has to be my favorite In Colors of all time. Hello Gorgeous!

Hey Stampers!  I was trying to come up with an easy class card because my other three were more complicated.  I decided to pull out Beautiful You from the Occasions 2017 catalog.  I used some Sending Love dsp, also from the Occasions catalog, and I layered it on top of a Stitched Square and Oval and cut the sentiment banner with the Banner Triple Punch.  I wanted to keep the dress plain until I showed it to my friends.  I gave them the option of stamping it in Memento Black or adding Real Red to the image.  I think most of them stamped the red.  I like it both ways.  What do you think?  If I can find a photo of the image with red, I will update.  I finished it off with some metallic enamel shapes (LOVE them!!).

Dragonflies

I'm in love with this new bundle in the Occasions 2017 catalog!  It's called Dragonfly Dreams.  It's very versatile.  I would use it for a birthday, get well, congrats, thank you, thinking of you card.

I made several of these cards at once.  First, I started with Whisper White cardstock and cut the dragonflies.  I stamped on another piece of Whisper White with the dots from the stamp set.  I used three colors - Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party and Perfect Plum, and then mounted it behind the dragonflies. I colored the dragonflies with the Wink of Stella pen but you can't see it in the photo.  I love the shimmery look!  I finished it off with some Metallic Enamel Shapes.

I decided to see what the dragonflies would look like in Pear Pizzazz on the white panel.  I liked the look even more!  The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree.  Let me know which is your preference.  And I will post a third on another day!
