Pixel Maven's PMDC-039 Color Challenge

I saw this color combo on Pixel Maven's blog and just had to participate!  I love this color combo (Pear Pizzazz, Crisp Cantelope and Pool Party).  It is so  me.  Ok, anything with Pool Party is good with me!  LOL

I used some of the new toys I got from the Occasions Catalog.  I've been dying to open up some of the boxes and stamp!  I finally felt good enough to play today after the stomach bug I got on Thursday night.  Thanks for looking and commenting!  As always, I apologize for the horrible photo.  I really need to learn how to take better photos.  My camera wasn't cooperating with my laptop earlier so I just used my iPad. ( just uploaded another, hopefully better!)

Hi Michelle! I love what you did with this week's challenge - especially that strip of cantaloupe CS - the texture makes it look like grosgrain ribbon!
Here's a hint for your photos - take the picture more from the side, so you can see the opening of the card. It adds more dimension! Also, leave a little more of a border around the card when you crop the image. That way it won't seem like the image is all cramped. HTH!
Thanks for playing along at Pixel Maven's this week! Hope to see you again soon!!

Thanks, Nicole, I will try that! I need to get something bigger for the background.

LOL! I just noticed that you're using white cardstock for your backdrop! (I started that way too!!) Now, I have a "photo booth" set up on a shelf in a bookcase. I use the white foamie sheet that you can get at Michaels, but a white pillowcase or sheet would work too!

I saw the foam board at Mikes today and should have purchased.
