My dh and I met with a realtor and my house will be on the market in two short weeks! I will be a maniac going through closets and cleaning windows, etc.
So I sat down to make a teacher thank you last night for someone who has spent a lot of time with my ds over the last four years of high school. We couldn't have done it without him. Anyway, got an idea in my head for a gift card holder. Asked ds' opinion if it should be manly or cute (penguin-ish). He said he didn't have a clue (no surprise). So....I decided on manly. Pulled out cs and printed papers, sat down, and my dh called me into the other room. He wanted to show me more properties - none were good. By the time we were done, it was way too late to start my card. Went upstairs to read for a few minutes and watch the 10:00 news....
I don't know how much I'll get done tonight but I really need to make that card for tomorrow.
I made this one last week but haven't decided what to use it for. It was a back up Mother's Day card and I didn't need it. Maybe a get well?

Very nice. How do you get those clips to stay on? I can never figure it out and end of gluing them.
Whew, two weeks?? I am sure it is a whirlwind for you.
Good thing to take some time and decompress with a little card-making. I love the card-cute for Mother's Day or get well too.
I was just coming here to see if you had a Mother's Day card I could get...lol.
Wanna send another one for me?
Two weeks...whew~ Try not to let it make you crazy. I am always amazed at the stuff I keep and then end up getting rid of.
Diana, I can't post an answer on your blog because it's not found.
Just in case you are looking for the answer, I just clip it on and put a bunch of adhesive on with my ATG. Can't live without that thing. Sometimes I use a glue dot under it too.
Another pretty card! It would work for lots of things, although not a "manly" one! :)
Wow, you're on a timetable now! I hope you guys find a wonderful new home, and have an easy time selling yours. :)
I am so busy with a new job that I deleted my blog. Maybe I'll start another some day - I'll just look at yours for now. Thanks for the info - duh, a glue dot.
