Fri. night went food shopping - VERY exciting! ;-) Sat. cleaned a little and helped dh with the boys rooms. Sun. worked at Commencement from 10-1:00 and went home and ripped through my youngest's room.
We are trying to get ready for carpet installation tomorrow. What a mess. I dusted and packed away a ton of crap from his desk & night stand. It's amazing what ridiculous things they save! I found a couple of VW decals that must have fallen off cars (he wants a Golf when and if he ever saves up for a car). I can't even remember the other stupid things I found. He gets so upset with us trying to take things away from him so I don't want to upset the apple cart UNTIL I talk him into setting his room up our way. We want it to look as big as possible when we put it on the market. It's a nice sized room but will look little with all of his chairs, couch type thing his friends sleep on, stereo, tv, desk, etc. So....I did toss a couple of things I didn't think he'd notice and also put a few in the attic, hoping he doesn't remember.
So last night I went into my room and tried to make some cards. I don't know what's wrong with my mojo but I cannot create lately. It takes all I have to get some card done that I'm not crazy over. Oh well...
Here are two I'm not very proud of but had nothing else to post! One is for my niece who just got engaged and the other is for a three year old boy's bday.

Cute cards, as always! I wish I had a clue how to do these and what to use :)
We need to either put in new carpet in the living area of our house or put in wood laminate (my choice, but now the DH is not sold on it). Is it a lot of work to get stuff ready for new carpet? Do you have to move everything out yourself? Ugh.
Hope you have a great week!
I like the toast one. Cute.
BTW our house is green.
Good luck with that carpet thing. It's a lot of work but well worth it in the end.
We had great guys with our carpet. I moved all my fragile stuff and they moved everything else - never charged us. We're getting ready for more tile now on the main floor - bathroom and laundry room - talk about a mess.
I love your cards! they have great color combination.
I am cherishing the time right now where I can still remove stuff from my DS' room. I know when he grows older I won't be able to do this anymore.
Have fun on your home redo.
Love the cards! I too am amazed at what kids hang onto! My oldest moved out, and I am still cleaning out his room... there was stuff in there from his freshman year in high school and he is now going into his sophomore year of college!
*shakes head*
Good luck with the carpet. And I love your cards, the toast one is adorable. We all lose our mojo at some point or another.
Wow, my DH hangs on to every little thing that crosses his path...I truly hope my boys don't but I hope you figure out a solution that works for your DS!
