How to embellish without using flowers...
I scrapped again last night. I didn't complete the 2 pg. lo but it's all adhered down. I just need to embellish. It's titled "Maine...the way life should be" as their state motto signs read. I just don't know what to embellish with. It sounds like a strange combo but the paper is a beautiful sky blue and the other papers are gray (pulled that out from the dock photos & lots of rocks) and olive green (for the mountains that surround the lake & the green grass). I don't want to use flowers here. I'm actually getting sick of using flowers on every lo. I thought about leaves but they need to be green because it was summer, not fall. Any suggestions? I forgot to take a photo.

Hmmmm. No suggestions. Well, what about travel type of embellishments--like road signs, maps, etc. A little too out there?
I don't know either Michelle. If you want some green leaves, I might be able to find a pattern for my craft robo and cut them for you. Or I have a few leaf punches I could use too.
stamps!!....or painted or inked chipboard. Have you used those products before?
I use a lot of stamps to "dress up" my lo's. I was totally freaked out to try them but now I hooked. Especially the clear ones because you can see exactly where you are placing it!
I also love chipboard because you can paint it or ink it or just trace it and use the shape on some patterned paper.
hope I helped!
