The colors in this photo are way off (the ribbon). It really does match in person. It's a shiny ribbon so maybe that's why. I am too tired to take another photo.
I pulled out another old SU set (Heartfelt Thanks) and old dps for this. I used Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Perfect Plum (I think)! Thanks for looking!

I like the colors. I have the hardest time with sympathy cards.
Must be because the colors look great together, and are soothing. It's another wonderful card, Ms Hallmark :)

Perfect colors for the perfect card! re: the blue outline...well I ONLY have colored pencils and they are rose art at that (Wal-Mart brand)...I bought 72 of them for $8 or something...anyway, I make sure the tip is somewhat dull (not sharp) and then I press lightly and go over as many times as needed to get the shade I want...really easy peasy!
I'm sorry that you needed another sympathy card but the card that you made is beautiful. I have that stamp set and love it. You have a really good eye for color, not me!
