From the Heart...

I feel like I've been making a lot of "from the heart, thinking of you, with sympathy" cards lately.  I'm thankful I have new products to make it easier!  Here is one using the beautiful new blue called Balmy Blue, and the specialty designer series paper called Delightfully Detailed.  There are pieces you can use as strips and some as a mat, or you can simply cut to size and use the flowers and leaves as layers.  I scattered a few of the tiny colored pearls from the Share What You Love suite.  The sentiment is from Petal Palette on a Stitched oval.  Let me know what you think!  And click below to view the catalog.  Feel free to contact me for a free copy if you are not working with another demonstrator.

Myths & Magic

I promised to post a card using the adorable Myths and Magic suite quite a while back.  I was really busy getting ready for my open house event and didn't have the chance.  I won this cute set at OnStage back in November and I was thrilled!  I have two grandchildren to make cards for and I know they will love these characters.  I also thought the wizard could be used to make a masculine grown up card, or even a female one.  Would you use this stamp set for an adult card?  Click to check it out or purchase it.  Can't wait to make a mermaid card!

Petal Palette

I am in love with this bundle called Petal Palette from the Occasions catalog!  It is so pretty and so versatile!  I've made several completely different cards with it.  And when you order the set before March 31, you will receive a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog!  Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment if you have a second.  I love reading them!

Stampin' Blends

As mentioned in my previous post, Stampin' Up! came out with new alcohol-based markers.  Stampin' Blends are amazing!  They are available to customers starting TODAY, November 1!  They come in 12 beautiful Stampin' Up! colors as a set or individually.  Each color has two shades, light and dark.  Just click above for ordering information.  *

*NOVEMBER SPECIAL - Order the whole set from me and I will send you a Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad and some 6x6 sheets of Just Add Color dsp.  Just use Host Code C4WHHZFA .

I promised to post a picture using Stampin' Blends.  I made two quick cards and colored a piece of Just Add Color designer series paper just to practice.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and then started coloring with the light shade.  I used the dark shade at the bottom and middle of the leaves.  I went back over the dark with the light to blend.  Easy peasy!  There is even a color lifter to move the color from outside the lines.

I used the Happiest of Days stamp set for both cards.  I just love those little gifts and the fonts!  The black dotted paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely dsp.  Calypso Coral Layering Squares and Stitched Framelits are used on the first card.  I used Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight for Stampin' Blends.

On the second, I stamped the gifts on a Stitched framelit and backed with a Layering Squares framelit in Bermuda Bay.  I colored with Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.  I made an ooops on the sentiment so I stamped over again on Daffodil Delight and called it a day!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.  I love to read them!
