Huge Congrats

Hi Stampers!  I made this card for my amazing upline, Mary Fish.  She just hit one million dollars in Stampin' Up! sales!  She is incredible!  A huge congrats to Mary!

I knew I wanted to use the Petals & Paisleys designer series paper so that I could use my new copper embossing powder.  The sentiment is a font I love from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.  I know that Mary has a passion for pretty fonts!  I cut a frame from the Lots of Labels framelits in Rich Razzleberry and then the sentiment piece from the larger die and adhered.  I was stuck for a small embellishment when I remembered that I received a package from Stampin' Up! which included the Paisleys & Posies bundle.  I stamped the leaf several times in Delightful Dijon and then ran it through the Big Shot.  I added a metallic enamel shape.  I'm in love with those things!!  The ribbon is part of a trio from the holiday catalog.  Please let me know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by!

Here is my loose interpretation of the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge by Dawn Tidd.  I do love the sketch and I'd typically follow it to a T, however, I had this card on the brain before I sat down.

I needed to make a thank you and I was in the mood to use my Botanical Builder framelits.  I truly love these flowers.  They are so easy to layer and they have a WOW factor. I decided to create some interest by using Lots of Labels framelits for my sentiment piece.  The framelits, stamps and dsp can be found here:  Botanical Gardens Suite. I dug out some Paper Pumpkin stamps for the sentiment. The colors used are:  Mossy Meadow for ink and cardstock, Hello Honey cardstock, and Cajun Craze ink and cardstock.

And after posting, I realized that I forgot my dot in the middle of the big flower!  Ooops, too late.

WWYS 55 Balloon Celebration challenge

I saw this challenge on What Will You Stamp  #WWYS55 and I decided to play along.  I love this balloon set from Stampin' Up!  As a matter of fact, I love everything in this year's Occasions catalog!

I really enjoyed playing along with the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge by Mary Fish!  These colors are so yummy!  Pool Party is probably my all-time favorite color.  The other two are at the top of my list too.

I used the Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Builder Framelits for this.  I really love how easy it is to make a flower with this set! The sentiment is from the Watercolor Wishes kit. I made this for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.  I love the sketch, but had a little difficulty with it.  I am not great at cutting angles!  It was a tiny bit off so I just cut a strip of  Hello Honey to put over it.  And, yes, I realized after I used Hello Honey, that the dsp lists Delightful Dijon.  Oh well, it doesn't look too off, does it?!   The card is a thank you for a male host for a class I recently had.  You should go over and see what the other designers came up with!  They're awesome.

Pals Paper Arts

This is such a cute and easy sketch. I kept my card really simple as I'm short on time right now (as everyone else is).  I pulled out some pretty dsp and called it a day!

Is everyone ready for Christmas?  I'm getting there but I still have a few loose ends and then I can start the wrapping.  I can't say the same for my cards.  I keep saying that I'm not sending, but I have always sent Christmas cards and I can't seem to let it go.  I might have to buy a box or two.  I only have a  handful of handmade on my desk.
