These pretty colors from the talented Mary Fish are so refreshing!   They remind me of an ice cream I used to love as a kid.  It was some sort of Neopolitan or Harlequin ice cream with orange sherbet, coffee, and vanilla, but strawberry would have been a great addition!  It sounds like a weird combination, but the orange sherbet and coffee together were truly amazing!  I think it was made by a local company, Hood Ice Cream. If anyone remembers it, please comment! Anyway, on to my card!

I am trying to build my sympathy or "bad news" card stash.  I started with watercolor paper.  I embossed the trees from Thoughtful Branches in white. I then wet with Aqua Painters, and then dipped in each color with the Aqua Painter on the wet paper.  I stamped the sentiment from Greatest Greetings in black and mounted the pieces.  Easy peasy! I'm very excited to have my color combination featured this week on Pals Paper Arts!  I hope you like it enough to play along! These colors are very soothing to me and remind me of the beach.  As always, I made two cards. The first is for someone who is going through chemo and the second was for a friend who successfully defended her dissertation. I stamped my butterfly with Watercolor Wings and then used ButterfliesThinlits to cut the top piece and Bold Butterfly Framlits for the Crumb Cake layer.  The tag is from Lots of Labels.  The sentiment is from Greatest Greetings.  The Cucumber Crush striped paper is envelope paper.  It's nice and thin for envelope liners , but is also a great dsp!  I finished with the pretty green pearl from a recent Paper Pumpkin kit.  Please let me know if you have questions.

I created this card using the Party Pants set from Sale-a-Bration which is no longer available.  There is a cute balloon set which can still be ordered called Balloon Celebration.  This is in the Occasions 2016 catalog which is ending May 31.

Global Design Project #029

I saw this color combo for the Global Design Project and had to try it!  I stamped the cute bicycle from Sale-a-Bration, Pedal Pusher, in Early Espresso on Shimmery White cardstock, and colored in with blender pens.  The background is the Decorative Dots Textured Embossing Folder.  I used a sentiment from Greatest Greetings.  Love this font!!  I also stamped some "gravel" with Timeless Textures.  I tied some Linen Thread with the Bermuda Bay 1/8" stitched ribbon.  Please let me know what you think!
