Favored Flowers

I will admit, I didn't immediately love this designer series paper when I saw it in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I saw others using it and started warming up to it.  Well, when I got it in my hands, I loved it!  The flowers are pretty, but the back side prints are fantastic!

For the first card, I used a sentiment from Something Fancy, and a fun sketch from Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty.  The Fresh Freesia panel is embossed with the Basics 3D crosshatch embossing folder (Online Exclusives - see below).

My second and third card are pretty much the same using different colors.  I used a Freshly Made Sketch for this one.  I used the Sending Support stamp set (another free item with a $50 purchase in Sale-a-bration).  The sentiment was stamped and then die cut with the Sending Dies.

Stampin' Up! recently announced the new Online Exclusives.  These are products you will not find in any catalog.  They will be available online until they are sold out.  These were available for preorder so I ordered a bundle, along with the Basics 3D embossing folders (set of three).  They are fantastic!  The Online Exclusives are available to customers starting March 1, so stay tuned!

Don't wait on this dsp. Sale-a-bration is over soon, and this could sell out early!  Shop by clicking below.  When you spend $50 or more with me, you will receive a card kit (two of the above) minus the stamping.  You will also get to choose an item from the Sale-a-bration catalog!

Rainy Days

Do you like rainy days?  I don't mind them so much when the temperatures are warm, but I hate rain in winter!  These cute characters are definitely out in the spring or summer rain.  Aren't they adorable?  The Rain or Shine suite is so fun!  The dies from the Playing in the Rain bundle cut some of the characters and umbrellas from the designer series paper.  Love it!  Here are two cards I made with the bundle/suite.

For the first, I embossed a panel of Balmy Blue (4 x 5-1/4) with the Raindrops embossing folder.  I adhered the pieces cut from dsp, then I had this Flirty Flamingo frame left over from another project and decided to put it on top.  The clouds are brushed with Wink of Stella, but it's hard to see. For the sentiment, I used the hexagon from Something Fancy dies.

For this card, I used a base of Flirty Flamingo and added the embossed Balmy Blue panel.  The bunny, clouds and grass were cut and adhered.  The sentiment is on a label from the Something Fancy Dies (a new favorite die set!).  This is for someone close to me who loves pink and recently had a liver transplant.  It's too soon to send, but I wanted it ready for when she is feeling a bit better (hoping and praying).

If you'd like to shop for this adorable suite, bundle, etc., just click below.  During Sale-a-bration (ends in February), you will get to choose a free item when you purchase $50 or more.  I will send you a card kit for these two as well (minus the stamping).

Two-Tone Fancy

When I first saw the January to April mini catalog, I knew I needed the Something Fancy bundle.  I LOVE sentiments!  The fonts and greetings are fantastic in this set!  On my B list was the Two-tone Flora bundle.  I didn't think I needed another floral, but boy, was I wrong.  The flowers and the background die are really gorgeous!

Sometimes when I first get a stamp set, I can't quite figure out where to begin, so I CASE the catty.  My first card is a CASE of the box in the catalog.  I used Go to Greetings for a sentiment, and Champagne Rhinestones to embellish.

The second card was a happy mistake.  I had forgotten how to emboss with a die.  I took out an embossing mat, but couldn't remember the sandwich.  The result was a blurred floral background which I ended up loving.  I paired it with a leftover strip from the Fancy Flora designer series paper and a greeting from Charming Sentiments (told you I was a sentiment lover!).

I'm loving the two-step stamping flowers in this set after all!  If you want to purchase any of the items I used, go to my online store by clicking on one of the pictures below.  Right now is a great time to purchase as you will get to choose a FREE item with a $50 purchase (and two FREE items with a $100 purchase, or one level 2 items).  Have fun shopping!

Fancy Fancy!

I cannot stop using this gorgeous designer series paper called Fancy Flora!  There are so many colors. I set out to have a stash of sympathy cards since they are the most difficult to make. Sadly, I can't seem to keep a stash for long.  These went together so quickly!  For the sentiments, I used the Something Fancy bundle. There are some great greetings with this amazing font!  And the dies have some versatile labels for any sentiment.

For the first one, I used a free set from Sale-a-bration called Beautifully Happy.  The rectangle is from Scalloped Contours.  I stamped then colored with my Stampin' Blends, and spattered the Soft Succulent on the background.  The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed with Stampin' White embossing powder on Orchard Oasis.

I used a more muted pattern on this one and embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder.  I colored the same and didn't spatter.  Which do you prefer?

This one has such different colors, you wouldn't know it came from the same pack of dsp!  I paired it with the pretty Brass Butterflies and Evening Evergreen ribbon.  The base is Soft Succulent.

I had two pieces of dsp left from the two cards above, so I came up with this layout to use them up.

You can shop for the products used above in my shop by clicking below.  If you purchase the amazing Something Fancy bundle (or better yet, the whole suite which includes the designer series paper) with one small item, you would qualify for a FREE item in Sale-a-Bration!  If you purchased the whole suite, you would get to choose a $100 level item (Beautifully Happy used above is one).  Please let me know if you'd like to receive free catalogs (if you aren't working with another demonstrator).
