The Enjoy the Moment stamp set was an all-attendee prize at OnStage at Home in November. I was completely baffled at how to use it. I finally sat down to ink it up and this I what I came up with.
I wanted a sunset sort of background, so I took my Blending Brushes and inked up my paper in Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz. Then I stamped the image with Memento black and colored in lightly with light Old Olive and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I decided to use black behind both the sky panel and the image panel to make them pop. The sentiment was stamped on Coastal Cabana and cut with Tasteful Label dies. I use these dies so often! I tied some Linen Thread around the image panel and popped the sentiment on top. I finished by flicking a black Stampin’ Write maker lightly over the image panel.
I decided to make one more, as I almost always do. This time I used Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the image on vellum with Basic Grey and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped with Basic Grey and cut with Tasteful Labels dies. I tied some white bakers twine around the panel. The vellum was adhered with mini glue dots under the image a bit, and under the sentiment. The Elegant Faceted Gems were added and I tucked mini glue dots under them as well. I really enjoyed using this awesome stamp set once I got going! There may be another coming up soon!! Let me know which one you prefer.
