She sells seashells

Oh my, this is definitely my favorite bundle/suite in the Stampin' Up! January to June 2021 catalog!  First, I love the beach!  Second, my name is Michelle and half of my life I was called Shelly or Shell, hence the blog name.  I can still hear my Nana calling me, "Hi, Shell."

Anyway, I created this card for a dear friend who loves soft blues.  The suite comes with a ton of products.  One is the Pearlescent paper.  It is gorgeous!  I will give you a hint though - after you stamp on it, wait a day for it to try.  If you don't, it's still pretty, but it will smudge like the second pink shell below.

I began by cutting the Pearlescent paper with the Seaside Shells dies.  Then I stamped in different colors (Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Seaside Spray and Sahara Sand.  I used my Blending Brushes to add some Soft Seafoam on the seaweed.

I then took the die cut piece and lined it up in the Seashells 3D embossing folder and ran it through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.  The embossing folder so realistic and gorgeous!

Next step was cutting a piece of the beautiful dsp (Sand & Sea) at 4 x 5-1/4.  My base is Seaside Spray cut at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4.  I adhered the die cut piece to the dsp with Stampin' Dimensionals under the shells. I tied a piece of linen thread and adhered the dsp to the base, stamped my sentiment (die cut with Hippo & Friends dies) and adhered with dimensionals on top and below the thread.  Lastly, I added three of the gorgeous opal rounds. I ended up making two cards and I switched the sentiments from the front to inside.

You can buy any of these products in my store.  Right now Sale-a-Bration is going on.  For every $50 you spend, you will choose a FREE level one product in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Click on the products below.  Thanks for stopping by!  Let me know if you have questions.
