Celebrate Dots!

I recently received these cute embossing folders from my incredibly generous upline.  I sat down to try them out.  Four cards later, I finally decided to quit for the night.  I made masculine and feminine versions. I ended up loving the color combinations, especially on the masculine one.  I will use it in the future!  There are a ton of ideas I have for the folders and I will be playing with them again.

I have a couple of tips with the folders.  Keep your paper in the folder while stamping the dots (or whatever shapes you want to use).  It will give you a little stability with the debossed letters.  And press down lightly so that the colors don't get inside the letters.  Oh, and if you get a little bit of ink in the letters, just take a white gel pen and write over it!  It's that easy.

These two little folders can easily make a WOW card and there are so many options. They are only $9 US.  Stampin' Up! has a few card samples in the store.  Go and check them out here:  Celebrations Duo Textured Embossing Folders

Here are my samples.  Please let me know your favorite!  I used the Fiesta Textured Embossing folder in the first.  Colors are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry.  I added Metallic Enamel Shapes as well.

In the second one, I used Dapper Denim, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist.  Again, I added some Enamel Shapes.

In the third, I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and some Fresh Florals dsp.  I used Flirty Flamingo as a base with a panel of Peekaboo Peach.  Then I tied on some Flirty Flamingo ribbon and Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.

Don't forget....for every $50 you spend in July, you will receive a $5 coupon to use in August.  That's a great deal!  There are no limits to how many you can receive.  Check it out here:

    1. Thank you so much for leaning me a comment! I appreciate it! I kept the cardstock in the folder while stamping. I got a tiny bit of color in the celebrate and used a white gel pen to color over it.

  2. Hi. So cute. What did you use to make the "dots". Sponge dauber or a stamp from a set?
