Love this gorgeous combination for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 255! I enjoy making masculine cards. I know I'm in the minority!
I used By the Tide for this one. I started with a Hardwood background, cut the Marina Mist with a circle, stamped the seaweed, cut the Early Espresso twice and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I stamped the fish in Marina Mist on Whisper White. I used an Aqua Painter to pick up some color from the Sahara Sand ink pad and did some areas a little darker for shading. The sentiment is from a new set, Happy Happenings. I cut it out with the Project Life labels framelits. It's hard to see but the fish eye is glossy from Crystal Effects.
Fabulous job!!! Perfect masculine card!! Just love it Michelle!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comments, Amy & Brian!
ReplyDeleteHa! Crystal effects - I LOVE that stuff! I would have gone even further and put some on the fish to make the scales look shiny - like a fresh catch! But, I love what you did with the coloring - very cool! Thanks for playing with PPA this week :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Michelle! I love the Crystal Effects eye...so clever! A perfect masculine card. Thanks for playing at Pals Paper Arts this week!
