Weird Foliage...

Hey, I know it's been a while. I decided to post about the weird foliage this year. It's just starting to get pretty out my family room window but the back yard is still kind of ugly. Here are a few pictures I took on my way to work this morning. The first is from the driveway looking down one side of our neighborhood. The next is the back yard. Then heading down the other side of the neighborhood. Normally it would be really vibrant reds & oranges but this year some trees have no leaves and some haven't changed yet.

Then I got to work early so I took a couple looking out my window. It's normally drop dead gorgeous and every single person coming in says so. We get sick of hearing it since we usually have our back toward the windows. I know we're very lucky for this view though. Again, it's weird this year. One tree is almost bare, one big one hasn't changed and the others are pretty. There is a gorgeous orange tree in the courtyard. If I can remember, I'll take a photo during lunch.

Happy Fall, Y'all! LOL

  2. I looks incredible to me too! Everything here is brown and dead, we've hardly had any rain since late August. We don't get a lot of color anyway, none of these pretty oranges and reds. Such a great view, even if it's not as lovely as normal :)

  3. That view looks great but pls don't boo me for it. We are starting to feel the Fall Chill here. After temperatures reaching around 90+ 1.5 wks ago, it dropped like 25 degrees. I need to find the beanies again.
