I LOVE fall and the beautiful leaves we have in New England! When a friend asked me to make some thank you cards with leaves on them, I jumped in. I gently cased Livia Lau. Here are some samples I made with the Love of Leaves bundle. This is not new, but it's a must have! I used up whatever cardstock scraps I had for the leaves, then sponge daubered them. The colors are: Sahara Sand (base), Coastal Cabana, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, and Mango Melody. Some of the backgrounds are made with the Love of Leaves dies (lines) and some with the Timber embossing folder.

When I first saw the Ombre Specialty Paper in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog, I didn't think much of it because the picture doesn't really show it. When I received it after winning in a prize patrol, I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was! It's very shimmery and pretty. It cuts easily and doesn't leave any glitter or residue behind. You should try it out! It comes in four colors - Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape and Night of Navy.
I've seen lots of cards using ombre strips of paper, so I thought I'd give it a try. I cut the five strips at 1"x 3-1/2" . I put Stampin' dimensionals on them, mounted on an embossed piece of Basic White (embossed with Tasteful Texture embossing folder) and adhered on a Basic White card base. Then I cut the leaves from the Artistic Dies, stamped and cut the flower from Artistically Inked bundle, and adhered the leaves and flower. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Basic Black and embossed with White embossing powder. I trimmed it closely and mounted with mini black Stampin' Dimensionals. Let me know what you think!

My favorite season is a close tie between summer and fall. I love the beach, swimming, flip flops, etc., but the fall is so pretty, especially in New England where I live. The leaves are just gorgeous!! So, I made one for each season. Then I showed my son two cards to choose from for fall (first two). He and I picked a different one, so I've posted both. Please let me know your favorite!!
The first is on a Crumb Cake base, embossed with the Bark folder. I used my Blender Brushes with Rich Razzleberry, Mango Melody, and Bumblebee. Then I stamped the trees from Welcoming Woods (Holiday mini catalog). I mounted it on Rich Razzleberry, added a tag from Tailor Made Tags, and tied some Linen Thread on it.
I love to get a jump on my Christmas cards. I make about 90, so starting early is a must. I've been making a few each month. For this month, I chose the Peaceful Deer bundle from the holiday mini catalog. I paired it with the Peaceful Prints designer series paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog (Yes, it's FREE). The sentiment is from Heartfelt Wishes (holiday mini). I just love this font!
This bundle comes with a punch and it coordinates with one of the deer in the dsp print. I love when that happens! Simply line up the deer and punch. To get the deer going the opposite way, you can punch a template out of cardstock, line it up on the backside, and punch.
