Peachy Pie!

I love the Sweet as a Peach bundle!  When I saw the suite, it reminded me of my grandfather.  He always said, "Peachy Pie!"  I started by making one of the cute jam jars.  I covered it with dsp (about 1-3/4" x 8-1/2").  I tied Pale Papaya ribbon around the jar.  Then I stamped the peach with Pale Papaya ink and used a sponge dauber around the edges with Calypso Coral, and die cut it.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Black.  Then the peach was popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Easy peasy!

I ended up making three cards.  The first was on a Basic White base.  The striped dsp was cut at 4 x 5-1/4" and the polka dot dsp was cut at about 1" x 4".  I used the Sweetly Stitched dies and stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz.  The peaches were stamped in Pale Papaya and sponged with a dauber in Calypso Coral.  I adhered one of the peaches on the label and the other was popped with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I tied the same ribbon around the dsp.  Champagne Rhinestones were used to embellish.

The second was on a Basic White base with dsp cut at 4 x 5-1/4".  I added a piece of the striped dsp 2-5/8 x 4-1/2" to make the tag stand out.  The tag was cut with the Tailored Made Tags Dies and I used Seaside Spray by mistake.  It is supposed to be Balmy Blue!  Since there isn't a lot of blue in the dsp, it looks fine. I sponged the small pieces and leaves and die cut them.  I used the same combination as the big peach.  The leaves are Pear Pizzazz.  I added the same ribbon in the tag and tied it with white baker's twine.

For the third card, I decided to use the right color.  My base is Balmy Blue.  The dsp is 3-3/4 x 5" and the tag is Basic White.  I added a striped banner (3/4" x 3-1/2").  I kept the ribbon and twine the same and added some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.  They are my favorite!!  This time I stamped flowers in the same colors as the peaches.  I popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals and wished I had done the same with the peaches.

Expressions in Ink 2

I mentioned I would be posting another card with Expressions in Ink soon (two posts ago).  Here it is!  This time, instead of using the die, I used the stamp set.  I started out with a base of Soft Succulent.  I stamped with Polished Pink (large flower) and Pale Papaya (smaller rose type flowers), and I thought it needed another color.  I decided to use Blackberry Bliss for the tiny flowers.  The dots were stamped in Evening Evergreen.  The sentiment is from Artistically Inked (part of the Expressions in Ink Suite).  I used Evening Evergreen on Pale Papaya, cut it into a rectangle and added a piece of the beautiful Shimmery Vellum under it.

After seeing how shimmery the vellum looked, I decided to splash some Wink of Stella all over the panel.  It's so hard to see in the photo. Let me know what you think!  I love reading your comments.

Color and Contour

The Color and Contour bundle is one of my favorites from the new catalog!  It's so versatile.  I love the dies, stamps and sentiments!  The dies have an incredible amount of pretty dies you can use with any stamp set.

On this customer thank you, I started with the new Polished Pink cardstock.  I then cut a piece of Pattern Party (host only) designer series paper with the Color and Contour dies.  I also cut the next smallest die from Basic Black, and then cut it into strips and adhered to the dsp.  I stamped the floral image twice with Memento and Polished Pink, and die cut.  One is adhered to dsp and one is popped with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The sentiment die and stamp are from this bundle as well.  They were popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and I finished with some Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials embellishments.

Expressions in Ink

As soon as I saw the new annual catalog cover, I knew I'd be ordering the Expressions in Ink Suite!  Isn't it gorgeous?  I love the colors and the design.

For my card, I used a Polished Pink card base with a Basic White panel.  I gently applied the new In Colors with my Blending Brushes.  Then I die cut the white piece and adhered it over the color. I sort of eyeballed the colors.  You could also use the die to apply the color, but you would have the outline.  Still pretty, but I wanted solid color.  I finished it off with Metallic Pearls (gold) and a sentiment from the Many Messages bundle. I inked that up with Memento black and cut a bunch so I had them ready. I hope this isn't too bright for a sympathy card. Let me know what you think!

Check back for another Expressions in Ink card soon!

Simply Succulents

The Simply Succulents bundle is a beautiful one!  Not only does it have the incredible images, but it also has a versatile die to use as a background (see second photo).  I had so much fun coloring these in with my Stampin' Blends!  This could be used for just about anything - Birthday, Thinking of You, Sympathy, Congrats, Thanks).  I'd love to know which one you prefer.

Cocktails, anyone?!!

I love playing with the Nothing's Better Than set!  The little cocktails are so cute.  My husband and I love tropical places and drinks.  I tried to create a card that looked like a pool.  What do you think?  I also created another for my cousin.  She has a pool as well, and her birthday is very close to my husband's.

For my husband's, I used Crumb Cake as a base.  I added a piece of retired braided twine to hide the line between water and wood.  He loves Blue Hawaiians, so I made both drinks blue.  I put the Bermuda Bay piece through the Old World Paper embossing folder.  I thought it looked like water.  Unfortunately, that retired, but I think you could use the Bark embossing folder. I cut the sentiment label with Stitched So Sweetly in Mango Melody, and the Cocktails in Granny Apple Green.  The cocktails were colored in with Stampin' Blends.

For my cousin, I used a Bermuda Bay base, with a piece of wood (crumb cake) that was sitting in my scrap pile forever!  I believe this was send through the Wood Planks embossing folder with Craft White Ink.  She got one of my favorites, a Hurricane (the pinky red drink).  Hope she liked it!

Hand-Penned

When I placed my pre-order, I added the Hand-Penned Memories & More cards to see if I "had" to have the suite.  Well, after playing with it for the first time, I must say, I'll be ordering the whole shebang!  This designer paper is gorgeous!

I started with a base of Mint Macaron for each card.  I decided to cut the Memories & More cards with the gorgeous Scalloped Contour Dies from the Contour and Color bundle.  They are amazing and I'm so glad I purchased them!  You'll be seeing me use these a LOT.  I cut the sentiment piece out of Blushing Bride, and then used some Foam Adhesive Sheets to pop it up.  These are just like Stampin' Dimensionals, only one sheet you can cut to size.  I then added a sticker from the Memories & More pack with a few 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (personal fav!).

Like I said, I started with a Mint Macaron Base, cut & adhered my frame along with a strip from one of the cards.  Then I realized I glued it upside down.  Ooooops!  It looked pretty fun upside down, so I cut the card base so I had a panel of Mint Macaron, then adhered to a Thick Basic White base.  I cut my sentiment piece in Pale Papaya, a new In Color.  Then I stamped the sentiment (a Paper Pumpkin stamp) and put a Pale Papaya bow on it.  I didn't see the need for embellishments.

Let me know what you think and if you have a preference for the first or second.  Memories & More cards are great if you don't want to buy the whole bundle/suite.  They are only $10 and go a long way!  These products will be available in my store on May 4.  You can shop now for current and clearance products in the meantime!  Any order of $50 or more is eligible for a gift from me if you use the April Host Code of: 2XMJSMFC .  Please don't use the code if your order is $150 or more.  Stampin' Up! will give you rewards for your order and I want you to get them. I will still send you a gift!  If you need a new catalog, please contact me if you are not working with another demonstrator.  I'll be happy to send a free one out to you.

Pansy Petals

I loved this Pansy Patch bundle as soon as I saw the new catalog!  I bought the whole Pansy Petals Suite so I could get the paper, embellishments, etc. I had Monday off (Patriot's Day for MA) so I decided to get some uninterrupted crafting time in!  The Pansy Petals Suite did not disappoint!  There are so many ways to use the stamps, dies and designer series paper.  Some of the dies coordinate with the dsp so you can cut a whole sheet of leaves and pansies and not stamp a thing except the sentiment.

I used the dies for the first card.  The pansies and leaves were cut and glued together on a Stitched Sweetly panel.  The base is Gorgeous Grape, the pansy Fresh Freesia (personal fav), and the leaves in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent.  I embellished with some gorgeous brand new In Color jewels.

On the next card, I stamped the pansies (two or three step stamping in the same colors listed above.  I embellished with an adorable bee trinket, mounted on a Stitched So Sweetly panel and adhered to a Soft Succulent base.

The third pansy was cut in Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape, and Bumblebee.  I took a Blender Pen and Bumblebee ink, cut down the color a bit, and simply added some streaks where the dies are indented.  The Bumblebee dsp is from Pansy Petals.  It's gorgeous!!  There are some ginghams, florals, etc.  The base on this is Gorgeous Grape, and I added a cute bee.

And the fourth was made by cutting the pansies and leaves out of designer series paper.  I cased the catty on this one.  Let me know if you have a favorite.  I'd love to hear what you think! The catalog has great ideas!  If you need one and you are not working with another demonstrator, please let me know!  I'd love to send you one for free.

The brand new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog begins on May 4.  I placed a pre-order as a demonstrator.  If you cannot wait for May 4, you can sign up as a demonstrator and place a pre-order until May 3.   It's a great deal and you have no further obligation.  You can simply enjoy the discount, or you can build a business to help support your Stampin' Up! habit!  I did that almost 8 years ago and I love every minute of being a demonstrator.  Just contact me if you have questions!
