You can't beat them for bestsellers and even catching up on older books or series books. I'm sure your library has a great online system, much better than mine :) You'll like the ease and flexibility of that and reserving books you want to try.

As far as recommendations, I do agree with Picoult and Coben. I like her books and the one I read by Coben I did enjoy and plan to read more. I'm not much help because I've been mostly reading Christian fiction and cozies lately, or extremely light and fluffy :)

Let us know what you do and what you leave the library with!Stacy at Exceedingly Mundanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10193142015462051142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19463675.post-27373379704859714752008-09-12T14:58:00.000-04:002008-09-12T14:58:00.000-04:00I am a library girl. I don't like to spend $$ on books either, so we are always at the library. The online part is great-I look up my books ahead of time because the boys don't have a lot of patience for me to look at grown-up books. :)

Another possibility is to see if you have any half-price bookstores or used bookstores. You can resell books for credit (not usually what you paid, of course). I don't usually do this, but I definitely go in and get books there every so often.

I wish I kept the books I read-I love mysteries too and I'd do a mailing exchange with you, but I don't really have any! :)Linda Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16801313102525232162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19463675.post-52070960487145575772008-09-10T14:19:00.000-04:002008-09-10T14:19:00.000-04:00You might have to update your library card. They usually give about 5-7 days to get them.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08310675446754616063noreply@blogger.com
