A trifold

I had to make a retirement card for at least 20 people to sign.  I recently saw a video on a trifold card and now I can't find it!  I had to fudge my way through because I lost the post-it with the score measurements.  I cut it at 5 1/2 x 11 7/8.  I know one score is 7 1/2 but can't seem to get the 3 ? right.  The video had a cut out with an image showing through.  I needed the blank space so I didn't do that.  It also had a flower to tuck the card into on the right side panel.  I decided to add the twine instead.  This twine was from SAB but it's now in the new catalog!  The Core'dinations cardstock is on the retirement list.  Love this paper!

Anyway, it came out ok.  There is plenty of room for people to sign.  I hope she likes it!

Sunglasses needed..

I decided to play with my new Stampin' Up! Work of Art set.  I actually made a mistake with the Bermuda Bay lines and decided to see if I could salvage it.  I just kept adding colors and this is what I came up with.  Then I pulled out the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set and stamped the cake.  I colored it in with Blendabilities markers.  I love them!  They are similar to Copics but come in sets of three for each color family.  I love the fact that they don't make Whisper White cardstock pill up.  Anyway, this is so not me, but it's done!

I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Weekend.  My granddaughter is coming over tomorrow while her mom and dad are at work.  Then they will come for dinner.  Can't wait to see her!

PPA 205

I just had to play with my Something for Baby set again!  It's too cute, not only that but I need several baby cards in the near future so I thought I'd get a jump on them.

I used this cute sketch for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 205.  I also used new dsp called Lullaby, and some retiring (green polka dots) dsp from the In Colors 2013-15.  This is still available until June 1.  The new products are not available until June 2.

As always, thanks for looking and commenting!  And enjoy the Memorial  Day Weekend!!

p.s.  I saw a stroller on Pinterest or Facebook with the flower and pearls on the wheels.  Wish I knew who to credit.  The card was completely different though.

New Photopolymer Set

This is a new photopolymer set called Endless Wishes which is only available while supplies last.  If you like this set, I would place an order fast!  The product number is 137553.   I just got mine in yesterday but didn't have time to play.  Hopefully I will have time this week. I can see myself using this a LOT!  I just love sentiments!

PPA 204

I had a lot of fun playing with my new Stampin' Up! toys!  I made this for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 204.  I have at least three baby cards to make so I went to work with the Something for Baby stamps & framelits.  I love making baby cards. I also love how easy it is when you have Framelits dies that go with a stamp set!  I used the Lullaby dsp, Hello Honey (yellow), Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding.  I'm really excited about the new products.  They're available on June 2nd.  Thanks for looking & commenting!

Out with the Old May Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Pals Blog Hop. This is the first hop on our new day - the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Before we celebrate the release of the new Stampin' Up! catalog next month, we want to take time to say goodbye to our favorite retiring products. This month we are featuring projects that showcase stamps or accessories that are retiring along with the 2013-14 Idea Book & Catalog on June 4th.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Susan Itel @ Simple Stampin' #7 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog.

I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set and Express Yourself which I love (and which you can see from my previous blog posts!).  I had been eyeing the Square Lattice embossing folder for years but never got around to buying it.  When I saw it was on the retirement list, I grabbed it!  Love the look of this folder.  I am very sad to hear that the Core'dinations papers are going away as well.  I love how you can sand them as I did here.  The stretchy Strawberry Slush ribbon is my favorite too.  I am a huge fan of Gumball Green.  I was sure to order some paper, ink and ribbon!  As sad as I am to see all of these wonderful products go away, I am thrilled to be getting some of the new products in!  The catalog is fabulous!! I can't wait to share it with you.  You may want to check out the retirement list to see what you can't live without, like I did!

The next stop is 9. Beth Beard at My Little Craft Blog on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and  I hope to see you next month.

PPA 203

Whew, I had a tough time with this color combo for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge 203.  I am running so far behind on May, it's not even funny!  I have so many birthdays, including my husband's and his brothers which are both on May 11.  Yes, they were born six years apart.  We always joke that my hubby's older brother got him as a birthday gift.

I am dying to get my box of new goodies today!!  I will be playing with them at my friend's crop tomorrow.

Anyway, thank you for looking and commenting, as always!  I hope all of you moms have a fabulous Mother's Day!

PPA 202

I LOVE this color combination!  It is so me.  I needed to make some thank yous so I went to work with my Fresh Prints dsp stack for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. This is one of my favorite dsp lines as well.  This is only available through June 1st (Occasions Catalog).

I really need to take some time to clean up my stamp room.  I have had three orders come in within the last two days and it looks like a Stampin' Up! explosion which is not really a bad thing.

I have so much to post about so stay tuned.  Thanks for looking and commenting!
